Cordillera Da Chela is a prestigious location in southern Angola renowned for its exceptional wine production. It is considered one of Angola’s natural wonders.
In this project, I partnered with copywriter Ana Costa to develop the branding for Cordillera Da Chela wine. Our goal was to create a brand that resonates with the high quality and unique heritage of Angolan wine.
Drawing inspiration from the famous Cordillera Da Chela, we aimed to create a connection between this natural wonder and the exquisite wine produced in the region. Our objective was to position Cordillera Da Chela wine as a symbol of Angolan excellence and resilience.
We began by brainstorming brand names that would encapsulate the essence of both the location and the product. “Cordillera Da Chela” emerged as the perfect choice, reflecting both the geographic landmark and the high-quality wine it represents.
As the Art Director and Graphic Designer, I led the development of the brand from inception to completion.
Throughout the design process, we explored various concepts and iterations, ultimately presenting the client with options that best conveyed the desired brand identity. The client fell in love with our chosen direction, which perfectly captured the essence of their brief.
